⚖️ DAO Personhood - A federal judge has sided with the CFTC in a lawsuit alleging Ooki DAO offered unregistered commodities, quashing an industry-wide perception that DeFi actors are protected from regulatory scrutiny due to their decentralized nature.
🧧 Tokenized Securities - The Bank of China’s investment banking arm, BOCI, issued tokenized securities on Ethereum for the first time. The CNH 200 million ($28M) offering of structured notes was facilitated by Swiss banking giant UBS and placed with clients in Asia Pacific.
🇪🇺 Cross-Border Verification - European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI), an initiative of the European Union, will use blockchain technology to develop a credential verification solution aimed at simplifying the process for EU citizens to have their credentials recognized and accepted in different countries.

🎨 Collective Advisors - Digital art collective Wildxyz has introduced The Wild Curatorial Board, a group of 10 artists who will advise the company’s artist residency program and help develop the future of experiential art.
⚡ Quantum Solution - A novel proof-of-work (PoW) scheme for validating blockchain consensus that relies on quantum computing has been published, offering the potential to lower the environmental impact of mining on the Bitcoin blockchain and similar chains.
📈 DAO Exchange - DEXDAO, powered by 1inch and Uniswap, enables a seamless and secure platform for DAO token trades and token holder collaboration and engagement.

🌌 Interchain Advancement - Informal Systems, a Cosmos ecosystem developing team, raised $5.3M, led by CCMC Global, to boost its security auditing division.
💸 zkLayer Two - Taiko Labs, a prominent layer two developer focused on scaling the Ethereum blockchain, raised $22M across two rounds. The first: a $10M seed led by Sequoia China, and the second: a $12M pre-Series A led by Generative Ventures.
🕹️ Portal to Play - HyperPlay, a platform for accessing web3-native games, raised $12M, co-led by Griffin Gaming Partners and Bitkraft Ventures to develop its launcher and further fuel international expansion.
💰 Web3 Social Growth - Lending protocol Aave's decentralized social-media platform, Lens Protocol, raised $15M, led by IDEO CoLab Ventures.
🤖 Blockchain + AI - London-based Gensyn, a provider of blockchain-based computing resources for artificial intelligence platforms, has raised $43M, led by a16z, to accelerate the protocol's introduction and expand its workforce.
