🐉 Community Chest - Hydra Ventures, the first dedicated investment DAO fund of funds and incubator, is on a mission to propagate community-driven and values-aligned investment DAOs across web3 and beyond, unlocking untapped community energy and wisdom.
📺 Web3 TV - On September 24, FOX will air the first two episodes of web3-curated Krapopolis, created by Emmy Award winning Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon, inspired by characters from Greek mythology. Holders of a Krapopolis-related NFT can vote on show components, see exclusive token-gated content, attend in-person events with the cast, and more.
🧑🚀 Teamwork - Starbucks’ web3 project, Odyssey, has joined forces with Aku, an NFT project by former Major League Baseball player Micah Johnson. Starbucks’ will donate $100,000 to Blessings in a Backpack, a non-profit tackling food insecurity among children, as part of the launch.
☁️ DApp Integration - Cross-chain protocol Axelar is building a blockchain-based tool that allows businesses and users to easily connect with decentralized applications across Microsoft's Azure cloud platform.
🐊 Fashion NFTs - Lacoste’s newly-launched digital experience - part of the ongoing digital revolution of brands striving to create lasting connections with loyal followers - allows fans to engage in community quests and earn rewards.
🖼️ NFT Adoption - Web3 infrastructure firm Crossmint is rolling out a wallet-as-a-service (WaaS) to help companies implement simplified, interoperable blockchain technologies into their existing goods and services, and to enhance the adoption and utility of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) across various industries.
⚡ Web3 Infrastructure - Bitcoin’s Lightning Network is gaining traction. Google Cloud is the latest to join by partnering with Voltage, the Bitcoin Lightning Network solutions provider, to roll out Bitcoin-based services worldwide.
🎶 On-chain Recognition - Quivr enables users to build their their social credibility on the blockchain. Users can connect apps like Spotify, Instagram, Apple Music, etc., and based on their behavior, Quivr generates blockchain badges.

🚗 Car Sharing 2.0 - Eloop, a car-sharing service in Austria, has tokenized part of its fleet of over 200 Tesla cars. The blockchain integration allows users to own a fraction of the fleet and share the revenue the cars generate from daily rideshare operations.
💰 Building Web3 - Singapore’s Startale Labs has received $3.5M from Sony Network Communications, the Japanese giant’s internet services company, to create the infrastructure necessary to facilitate global web3 adoption.
🇦🇪 Startup Support - RAK Digital Assets Oasis, a free zone in the United Arab Emirates, signed a memorandum of understanding with the HBAR Foundation to support its ecosystem members through a grant program, and by assisting in leveraging the Hedera blockchain.
🇪🇺 Regulation Exploration - The European Union's regulatory sandbox for blockchain technology announced the first 20 use cases to receive legal advice and regulatory guidance. Participating projects represent finance and capital markets, telecoms and information technology, global trade, transportation, and more.
🪷 Digital Rupee - The Reserve Bank of India is exploring the possibility of cross-border payments using its central bank digital currency with counterparts from at least 18 other countries.
🇭🇰 Sustainable Development - Hong Kong has established a task force to supervise and promote the progress of web3 in the region as part of its ongoing commitment to embrace sustainable and responsible web3 development.
🕹️ Kill Switch - European Union lawmakers have agreed to move ahead with the controversial EU Data Act which updates the rules on smart contracts to include a kill switch option that would allow them to be safely terminated.

💸 Digital Assets - Leading data analytics platform CryptoQuant revealed that its parent company, Team Blackbird, raised a $6.5M Series A round led by South Korea-based Atinum Investment.
💵 Web3 Infrastructure - EVM-based layer-1 blockchain Shardeum raised $5.4M, with participation from Amber Group, J17 Capital, TRGC, and others, to foster the ecosystem's growth in the lead-up to the mainnet launch later this year.
🚨 Web3 Security - Olympix, which aims to bring scalable security to web3, raised $4.3M in seed funding, led by Boldstart Ventures, to help developers avoid vulnerabilities in smart contract code.
🪙 Blockchain Adoption - Singapore-based Web3Go, offering data tools backed by artificial intelligence (AI), raised $4M in a seed round led by Binance Labs. Their mission: to make it easy to verify ownership of AI-native digital assets.
🔒 Private Parts - Privacy protocol Ola raised $3M to enable programmable privacy for developers and users. Web3.com Ventures and Foresight Ventures led the round.
