👏🏼 Kudos to Tim Connors on his summary and analysis of the Merit Circle DAO vs YGG situation. In short, a DAO decided to ‘refund’ an investor perceived as not adding sufficient value (beyond their cash contribution), and in doing so, shorted the investor gains they had facilitated.

Our take: the DAO ecosystem is new. Opportunities, boundaries, and structures are being explored and redefined. But we have a choice here: we can operate with the utopian values we preach, or we can act like renegades and rebels and turn everyone off. What’s the point of building a different way if no one will join us on the journey? Choose wisely people.
