🎙 In the latest episode of the DAO or Never podcast, Logos co-founders Geoffrey Arone and Isaac Patka dig into the details of a few contentious DAO proposals - Solend, MakerDAO, and ENS DAO - and share the good, the bad, and some key elements to understand before joining a DAO. They also discuss Utopia and Panvala Stamps, two exciting tools destined to improve and grow the DAO ecosystem. Utopia is improving onchain payments, while Panvala enables individuals to financially support their communities without opening their own wallets. TLDR: the DAO ecosystem is maturing, personalities are emerging, and it’s becoming more user-friendly too. Available on Apple and Spotify.

(See aforementioned proof of what’s at stake in the recent spate of contentious proposals.) Validator Commons is one such cryptopolitical party that values governance and knowledge. Do you participate in DAO governance but often feel under-informed? Validator Commons might be your answer. If you’re lucky enough to be heading to Paris this month, the first in-person Validator workshop is taking place at EthCC.
🎶 It’s music to our ears anytime a web3-based project is embraced by a traditional institution. Congratulations to Songcamp’s Camp Chaos on your feature in Billboard, and for topping the chart of music NFTs..
📘 Radical Friends, from Blockchain Lab’s Ruth Catlow and writer Penny Rafferty consolidates five years of research exploring DAOs and their potential in the arts.
“It shows us... that the technology of the future needs to be about ‘togetherness, not separation. Love, not suspicion. A common future, not isolation.’”
UK-based readers can celebrate its launch in person this month. The rest of us will have to pre-order.
