⛳ LinksDAO, which counts NBA champion Stephen Curry amongst its most notable members, will bid to acquire the Spey Bay Golf Club, located in Scotland, to serve as its inaugural golf course. This move marks a significant step toward the organization’s goal of accessible, collective ownership within the golf industry. The anticipated purchase price of approximately $900,000 uses funds raised through the sale of membership NFTs. Despite starting with a foreign acquisition, Links intends to concentrate its focus in the US.

🇨🇳 Tencent’s Web3 Team Up - Chinese technology giant Tencent, owner of social media and messaging platform WeChat, announced a collaboration with MultiversX (formerly Elrond Network) to pursue opportunities in the web3 and multiverse spaces.

🇪🇺 Roundtable Regulations – In efforts to streamline the regulatory process for blockchain-related technologies, the European Commission has launched the Blockchain Regulatory Sandbox, a testing environment designed to facilitate cross-communication between regulators and supervisors on one side, and companies or public authorities on the other.

🇯🇵 Incubation Opportunity - Tokyo-based Sony Network Communications has partnered with multichain smart contract platform Astar to co-host a web3 incubation program focused on the utility of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

🚀 Launch Pad – Hub71, Abu Dhabi's tech ecosystem, announced a $2B web3 initiative to foster innovation in blockchain technology and metaverse applications. The program will provide web3 startups with access to a range of support in the UAE and across global markets.

📱 Nokia’s Metaverse - From beer breweries on opposite ends of the globe, to aircraft technicians in isolated airports, telecom infrastructure firm Nokia is betting on the industrial metaverse and exploring innovative ways to use web3 technology to aid workers in remote locations.

🌐 Bosch’s Blockchain – Global technology firm Bosch Group has partnered with Fetch.ai to establish a foundation, grant program, and multi-purpose blockchain network. The initiative, backed by a $100M commitment, aims to advance web3 capabilities, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT), and apply them in real-world use cases in mobility, industry, and consumer-related areas.

🏦 Deutsche Digitization - Deutsche Bank Singapore and Memento Blockchain have completed the proof-of-concept phase of “Project DAMA” (Digital Assets Management Access), which aims to provide a more efficient, secure, and flexible solution for digital fund management and investment servicing.
