🚀 DAO Treasuries Takeoff - Decentralized data analytics platform DeepDAO reports that decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) treasuries collectively surpassed $25.1B in assets as of March 31. It’s a lot of power in the hands of a lot of people.
💵 Funding Future Innovation - Entrepreneurs and developers building web3 apps with the Lisk SDK can apply for up to $270K in funding from the Lisk Grant Program.
🔒 Bridge Security - Gnosis, the team behind Safe multi-sig wallet and Gnosis Chain, is addressing one of the most vulnerable elements of web3 with the launch of their hash oracle aggregator, designed to make blockchain bridges more secure by requiring more than one bridge to validate a withdrawal before it can be confirmed.
Web3’s ‘Real World’ Presence
✈️ Non-Fungible Tickets - Argentine airline Flybondi has become the first to offer airline tickets as NFTs. The NFTs contain the passenger's itinerary, including flight number, departure/arrival dates, and seat number. With NFTs, Flybondi aims to create a more secure, transparent, and efficient ticketing system.
🏎️ Crypto Races Ahead - Kraken, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, has signed a sponsorship agreement with one of Formula 1’s top teams, Williams Racing. As part of the agreement, Williams race cars will feature Kraken branding and the team merchandise will include branded NFTs for fans to collect.

⚖️ Ooki Update - A federal judge in California denied a series of motions attempting to excuse members of the bZx DAO from liability in a novel class action lawsuit filed against the DAO. This ruling has significant implications, as it suggests that simply owning a token could create legal liability for holders.
🇦🇺 Crypto Regulation - Senator Andrew Bragg has introduced a bill before the Australian Parliament proposing regulatory standards for crypto. It aims to provide a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency exchanges, custody services, and stablecoin issuers, with the dual goals of protecting consumers and promoting investment.

💰 Digital Security - French hardware wallet company Ledger has secured most of a $109M Series C funding round with support from new investors True Global Ventures, Digital Finance Group, and VaynerFund. Ledger is poised to be a key player as crypto adoption increases by offering innovative and critical solutions for ensuring the safety and protection of digital assets for individuals and institutions alike.
🤖 Web3’s AI Revolution - Blockchain startup Fetch.ai has secured $40M in funding from DWF Labs to deploy decentralized machine learning, autonomous agents, and network infrastructure on its platform; provide the tools for developers to deploy; and monetize peer-to-peer applications with AI capabilities. This investment will enable the creation of solutions that merge the power of AI with the decentralized nature of web3, allowing for a more efficient and automated network.
💸 BitMoney - Seychelles-based crypto exchange Bitget has become the controlling shareholder in decentralized multi-chain wallet BitKeep with a $30M investment. Bitget plans to use the BitKeep wallet within its exchange to improve the stability and security of handling multiple assets across various blockchains.
🔗 Cross-Chain - Multichain liquidity and data gateway provider Li.Fi has secured $17.5M in Series A funding, led by CoinFund and Superscrypt, to bring more users to web3 by enabling seamless tokens and order trading across any chain.

🐉 Immortalizing with NTFs - Paris Blockchain Week hosted Quantum Temple’s launch of the world’s first NFT film collection representing and preserving aspects of Balinese cultural heritage. The sale of NFT 'Royal Topeng' raised $97,000, with 40% of the proceeds distributed directly to the local Balinese community.
