🖼️ Taking Bids - Sotheby’s Metaverse, the NFT and digital art arm of the most renowned art auctioneers in the world, has launched ‘Glitch: Beyond Binary’, rebooting last month's "Glitch-ism" auction that faced backlash for its lack of representation.
👟 Digital Kicks - This May, Nike will launch its first NFT sneaker collection on the .Swoosh platform. The virtual sneaker, called Our Force 1, is a play on the brand's iconic Air Force 1 design. Reportedly, items purchased on .Swoosh will be able to be worn in video games and other immersive experiences.
🌍 Collective Preservation - TemDAO is supporting the preservation, expansion, and development of the world's cultural and heritage resources through transparent democracy. Recent TemDAO donations have gone to Ukraine, Turkey, and Kyoto’s Ninna-ji temple.
⚕️ VitaDAO for Profit - Members of Pfizer Ventures-backed VitaDAO have voted to create VitaTech, a for-profit company that will secure and distribute government funding for longevity research while reducing the gap between research and commercialization.
🚢 Old School Goes New School - Hong Kong-based Global Shipping Business Network has become a transportation industry leader when it comes to modernization. The GSBN platform employs a permissioned blockchain with strong data governance, allowing only authorized parties to contribute and consume shipping-related data.

🏦 Blockchain Pilot - The Bank of England and Bank for International Settlements have successfully completed a distributed ledger technology (DTL) based pilot to assess the use of synchronous settlement with central bank digital currencies. The Bank of England will integrate the project's insights into its real-time gross settlement system.
🇩🇪 Web3 Welcoming - Germany is reinforcing its reputation for being technology-and startup- friendly by approving the ‘Future Financing Act’. The legislation aims to enable the issuance of securities on a blockchain and improve crypto asset portability.
🇯🇵 Web3 Adoption - Ripple-based MoneyTap is being integrated into three Japanese Banks. The popular solution for cross-border payments and peer-to-peer remittance features online identity verification, biometric authentication, and enables online remittance through a mobile phone number.

🎯 Focused Acceleration - The Ecosystem Fund - a $200M incubation initiative to develop dApps and protocols for the Core blockchain - is being launch by Core DAO, in collaboration with Bitget and MEXC.
💰 Web3 for Wall Street - M^ZERO Labs has raised a $22.5M funding round led by Pantera Capital to create a decentralized platform that allows members of the global financial system to allocate and transfer assets on-chain.
🤖 AI Evolution - CryptoGPT raised a $10M Series A funding round led by Sequoia Capital and Polychain Capital. The ZK layer 2 blockchain recently rolled out web3-focused AI assistant ‘Alex’ and is developing a data-to-AI engine, which collects, encrypts, and transfers data for commercial applications.
💸 A Layered Solution - Opside, a blockchain scaling startup creating ‘zero-knowledge rollups-as-a-service’, has secured $4M in seed funding, led by Web3.com Ventures. Opside aims to become the go-to solution for developers looking to leverage ZK technology and deploy applications without maintaining infrastructure.
